I had the best lunch today with my friends at work. A new truck opened on campus right outside the SAC called The Green Truck. The idea was formed by some Temple business students–you can read all about it here.
I am posting to report how delicious and affordable it was. I got one of the Lunch Combos: your choice of one of about 10 pitas, sweet potato fries, and an iced green tea for $4.50. Add chicken for 50 cents. YUM! And the portion sizes weren’t too big or too small. They were just right. Everything was perfect–I felt like I was eating straight from a garden. Make a special trip to North Philly, everyone! Eat at The Green Truck!

Love food trucks! Taco trucks are HUGE out here! Thanks for the link. I’ll return the favor when I get home.

Looks yummy! I think it’s a great idea.
I love the green truck! Their chicken pesto is filled with awesome juice.
Hey do you have a menu with prices for this truck? Thanks!
Hi Liza, I don’t think it’s anywhere online. Most lunch combos are under $5. They sell samosas, salads, sweet potato fries, hummus, etc. for around $2. One of my photos above is of the Lunch menu–can you make out any of the prices?
